Community woodland & field

We have leased (10 yrs) a woodland from the Moray Council, this along with our existing grassed land is now a real a community asset. As an organisation we recognise that this land is unique in Elgin, it is close to the centre and a safe environment for all users.
Both sections of the land is available to groups to use. Please use the contact us for further details .

Regular users of the land are :

Liberty Kids Nursery – 3 days a week 20 -30 kids.
Jack and Jill Nursery – 1 day a week 20 – 30 kids
Elgin Gamblers Anon – weekly meetings
Elgin breast feeding group – weekly meetings
Outfit Moray – just started using the land for young leader training
Children first – regular events
1st New Elgin Guides – weekly meetings
Wildcat CPR – regular community training sessions
Cedarwoods –  (daycentre for adults with disabilities) 2-3 sessions a week.
Moray Pathways – support for young people
Scouts – Activities, weekly meetings & camping for 6 -14 ½ year olds. District and international Scouting groups.
Moray DofE – Equipment into storage on the land and carry out activities on the site
Out of the Darkness Theatre – ( adults with learning disabilities).
Greenwards Primary School – use the woods 3 times a week
West End Primary School – adhoc user and twice yearly camps
Elgin High School – Used by Support for Learning
New Elgin Primary School – Use once a week for support for learning
Elgin Youth Cafe – use for numerous activities including outdoor cinema and foam party!

And numerous add hoc users!
