4×4 Electric Wheelchair

1st Elgin Scout Group have been lucky enough to receive an award from People’s Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery for a 4×4 Wheelchair and trailer.

It is a community asset and available to everyone in the community with the need. The X8 will be your partner to just about any destination. Sand, snow and every territory you can throw at it. With unrivalled off-road performance and reliability, the X8 is perfect for outdoor adventurers, explorers and rural workers. If the great outdoors is where you want to be, the Extreme X8 is waiting to take you there

Specification

• Four independent, high speed, high torque and high efficiency motors
• A top speed of 10 km/h (6.2 mph), the motors provide more than just speed. Four high torque, powerful motors, enable you to confidently ascend a wide variety of challenging terrain.
• Adapted seats adapted for children and adults
• Exceptional suspension keeps all four driving wheels on the ground, giving you an ultra smooth and jolt-free ride
• The Extreme X8 eats kerbs and small steps for breakfast driven by four independent motors, off-road low pressure knobby tyres and articulating front suspension.

• Splash resistant (not waterproof)

You are not hiring the wheelchair from 1st Elgin Scout Group, but the Scout Group are loaning the wheelchair to you. So as such there will not be a ‘hire’ cost but we we suggest a donation towards the maintenance and insurance of the wheelchair as defined below:
