Welfare Van & E-Transit.

At 1st Elgin, we have two transit vans available for use by other Scout Groups and members of the Scout organisation:

E-Transit – 2024 Plate
A state-of-the-art, fully electric van with a large load capacity that seats up to 3 people. It has a range of approximately 150 miles per charge, and we can recharge it for you upon return.

  • Charging Costs: Currently, we charge £0.30 per kWh. However, once our smart meter is fixed, this will drop to £0.07 per kWh. At present, a full charge costs around £21, but this will reduce to approximately £4.90 with the smart meter.
You can either recharge the vehicle while you’re out or we will charge you based on your usage.
