Community woodland & field
We have leased (10 yrs) a woodland from the Moray Council, this along with our existing grassed land is now a real a community asset. As an organisation we recognise that this land is unique in Elgin, it is close to the centre and a safe environment for all users.

| Users of the land are Liberty Kids Nursery http://www.libertykids.co.uk/ . 3 days a week (0900 to 1430). 20 -30 kids. Cedarwoods – Moray Council http://www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_2065.html (daycentre for adults with disabilities). Presently use the grassland for football and golf and plan to grow vegetables and flowers in the wood. Weir Blackbelt Academy https://www.weirblackbeltacademy.com/ During the Summer and Autumn they run 6 days a week over numerous sessions on the land with upto 30 pers taking part. They had a marque up for 4 months and utilised the land 4 times a week. Scout Group https://1stelginscoutgroup.co.uk/ , activities including weekly meetings camping and archery for 6 -14 ½ year olds. Use the land for practices and team building. Looking to do outdoor productions and training on the land when COVID restriction allow.
